Friends gather for advanced mosaic art making in the evenings. All ages are welcome to join in the fun.
The main goal is to finish our Little Free Library. For photos of our progress, feel free to visit our Facebook page. If you would like to join the fun, please give Leta Durrett a call at 214-356-6206 or email her at email@example.com.
For those of you who don’t know, we have built a Little Free Library, which is a small public bookcase, to inspire a love of reading, build community in our neighborhood, and spark creativity by fostering a local book exchange. Like other public bookcases around the world, any passers by can take a book or leave one for another passerby to read. Little Free Libraries come in all shapes and sizes, ours will come with glass, coins, and tiles! Our Bethany Mosaic ministry has taken their artistic inspiration from nature, as well as from stained glass windows in our sanctuary. Our public bookcase is set up on our lawn so that our neighbors can easily browse for murder mysteries, romance novels, and children’s stories. Make sure to save any paperbacks or hardbound books that have been gathering dust in your attic! We’d like to save them from the garbage bin and put them to better use.
With some limitations associated with COVID-19, the Little Library is temporarily out of service
